ERP

What is an ERP ?
An ERP (Integrated Management Software) guarantees the user uniqueness of information by the availability of information in a single database, regardless of the functionalities activated. It is based on real-time updating of information and ensures traceability of all operations carried out on it. As a rule, it covers either a management function (service) or the entire information system of the company.
Why implement an ERP
The objective of implementing an ERP is to avoid information redundancy within a company. A single software centralizing all the data of the company allows a better restitution of information, a better communication between the different departments, a better follow-up of the processes (follow-up of the customer of the taking of order to the establishment of the invoice while by stock movements, production and delivery monitoring). Thanks to dashboards that can be configured according to the services and needs of the end user, the ERP ensures sound management of the business.
PGSI
What is a PGSI
The PGSI is required in all companies, regardless of their size or core business. It defines the reference framework allowing the implementation of a policy of protection of tangible and intangible heritage against any voluntary and / or accidental alterations of their confidentiality, integrity and / or availability. It applies regardless of where the information is processed and / or stored in order to guard against a risk that could jeopardize the financial health and / or the sustainability of the company.
Cette Politique Générale définit les principes qui doivent permettre d’atteindre un niveau de sécurité qui soit à la hauteur de ses enjeux.
It aims to:
➢ Protect the know-how, the reputation and the processes of the company;
➢ Ensure compliance with commitments;
➢ Guarantee the availability of operational resources;
➢ Ensure compliance with legal and regulatory obligations.

RGPD

General Data Protection Regulation
Am I affected / do I need to comply
On April 14, 2016, the European Union adopted the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR), which entered into force on May 25, 2018. This regulation applies in all member states. Two criteria make it possible to distinguish companies affected by the GDPR. The regulations apply to any organization processing personal data:
➢ If this organization is established on the territory of the European Union;
➢ Or if its activity directly targets European residents.
All companies established in the territory of the European Union and which store personal data are therefore concerned, regardless of whether data collection is not their main activity or whether this collection is carried out on behalf of another company.

Data archiving

Why archive
Archiving has always been done in companies, but it was adapted to the way they worked, while keeping a human scale. With the advent of digital technology, the amount of data exchanged has grown exponentially. Faced with fears related to the possibilities of manipulation, misappropriation and fraudulent destruction of digital information, the legislator has imposed rules concerning the retention of this data and has made it the responsibility of companies.
GDPR Articles
Consideration 39:
This requires, in particular, to ensure that the retention period of the data is limited to the strict minimum.
Article 13 paragraph 2:
In addition to the information referred to in paragraph 1, the controller shall provide the data subject, at the time the personal data is obtained, with the following additional information which is necessary to ensure fair and transparent processing: a) the duration of the retention of personal data or, where this is not possible, the criteria used to determine this period;
With regard to the GDPR, data cannot be kept beyond a period fixed on a legal basis or on the basis of a recommendation made by the supervisory authorities.
